new life

A new stem has emerged from my Monstera, which had been dormant for a long time. I had wondered if it was dying, but it turns out it had been fighting with all its strength to live. As if to prove that just because no visible change can be seen on the surface doesn’t mean that nothing is happening.

오랜시간동안 dormant 상태였던 몬스테라에서 새로운 줄기가 나왔다. 혹시 이렇게 죽어가는 건가 싶었는데 온 힘을 다해 살고 있었던 것이다. 겉으로 보기에 아무런 변화가 보이지 않는다고 해서 아무것도 하지 않고 있다는 것이 아니라는 것을 증명이라도 하듯…
