마가복음 1:35-45

Mark 1:35–45 (ESV)

35 And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed. 36 And Simon and those who were with him searched for him, 37 and they found him and said to him, “Everyone is looking for you.” 38 And he said to them, “Let us go on to the next towns, that I may preach there also, for that is why I came out.” 39 And he went throughout all Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and casting out demons. 40 And a leper came to him, imploring him, and kneeling said to him, “If you will, you can make me clean.” 41 Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and touched him and said to him, “I will; be clean.” 42 And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made clean. 43 And Jesus sternly charged him and sent him away at once, 44 and said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, for a proof to them.” 45 But he went out and began to talk freely about it, and to spread the news, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter a town, but was out in desolate places, and people were coming to him from every quarter.

35 아주 이른 새벽에, 예수께서 일어나서 외딴 곳으로 나가셔서, 거기에서 기도하고 계셨다. 36 그 때에 시몬과 그의 일행이 예수를 찾아 나섰다. 37 그들은 예수를 만나자 “모두 선생님을 찾고 있습니다” 하고 말하였다. 38 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “가까운 여러 고을로 가자. 거기에서도 내가 말씀을 선포해야 하겠다. 나는 이 일을 하러 왔다.” 39 예수께서 온 갈릴리와 여러 회당을 두루 찾아가셔서 말씀을 전하고, 귀신들을 쫓아내셨다. 40 나병 환자 한 사람이 예수께로 와서, 그 앞에 무릎을 꿇고 간청하였다. “선생님께서 하고자 하시면, 나를 깨끗하게 해주실 수 있습니다.” 41 예수께서 그를 불쌍히 여기시고, 손을 내밀어 그에게 대시고 말씀하셨다. “그렇게 해주마. 깨끗하게 되어라.” 42 곧 나병이 그에게서 떠나고, 그는 깨끗하게 되었다. 43 예수께서 단단히 이르시고, 곧 그를 보내셨다. 44 그 때에 예수께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. “아무에게도 아무 말도 하지 말아라. 가서, 제사장에게 네 몸을 보이고, 네가 깨끗하게 된 것에 대하여 모세가 명령한 것을 바쳐서, 사람들에게 증거로 삼도록 하여라.” 45 그러나 그는 나가서, 모든 일을 널리 알리고, 그 이야기를 퍼뜨렸다. 그러므로 예수께서는 드러나게 동네로 들어가지 못하시고, 바깥 외딴 곳에 머물러 계셨다. 그래도 사람들이 사방에서 예수께로 모여들었다.

• "Rising very early in the morning ... he prayed" - 상당히 부담스러운 구절인데. 왠지 나도 이렇게 해야 할 것 같아서. 그런데 못 해서. 새벽 기도가 이 구절을 베이스로 시작된건가? 이렇게 되면 이건 혼자해야 되는거 아닌가? 제자들 안 데리고 가셨는데... (남편 왈, 철야는 같이 하는 거라네. ㅋㅋ) 그런데 왜 이렇게 하신걸까? 설교 시간에 일반적으로 듣는거 말고, 문화적인 이유는 없었을까? Jewish tradition이랄지? 
• "preaching ... casting out demons" - 예수님의 words and deeds가 함께 간다. 하나의 삶, 일치된 삶.
• 나병 환자를 보고 불쌍히 여기시고 고쳐 주시는 예수님. 모두가 피하던 그를 "touched" 하신 예수님. 그가 가진 병 때문에 unclean 하다고 label이 붙고, 또 공동체로부터 alienated된 사람. 그의 병이 치유받았을 때 he was able to go back to the community which he used to be a part of. 개인의 구원뿐만이 아니라 공동체의 일원으로 restored 되었다.
