Venting

Please, don’t even try to guess what is going on.

If you are a missionary (and this goes for anyone who works in a multi-cultural environment) who speaks a major language (business language), you should be more considerate to your colleagues whose mother tongue is not that language. They are trying their best to communicate with you, carefully choosing each word and phrase to best express their thoughts and ideas, and you have no idea how hard that process goes. For them, this is a very humbling moment. So, please do not say things as if your colleague is supposed to completely understand your language. I can’t stand such pride, arrogance, and ignorance anymore. I am saying these things for also to myself.

Lord, please help us to be in unity in your Spirit.
